Reviews - MudRunner
MudRunner is an uncompromising off-road driving simulator. Compared to SnowRunner, the main focus here is solely on log transportation, map exploration, and unlocking garages; on the other hand, the simulation model is slightly more advanced — including features such as chassis twisting.
Pros
- the best off-road driving model in the entire series
- graphics (considering its age)
- highly detailed vehicle models
- chassis flex and related mechanics
Cons
- maps are not as colorful and cheerful as in SnowRunner
- vehicles cannot be tuned (tires, engine, etc.), only add-ons can be changed
- the world lacks life — no traffic, no people
- engine sounds while driving are mediocre (they sound good at idle)
Summary:
An excellent simulator of driving in demanding terrain that will keep you entertained for many hours, and when purchased on sale, it is very inexpensive. I am a fan of the entire series from Spintires to Expeditions, so I can definitely recommend this game (simulator).
