Linux - laptop does not detect NVMe SSD - SATA only Optane without RAID
Notebook has sata mode only Optane without RAID. Installing Ubuntu does not see the NVMe SSD, I did not find (maybe just wrong looking) a solution on the Internet - is there any possibility?
After the next search:
Newer Acer laptops have only SATA mode BIOS settings
-optane without raid- and "doesn't offer" the possibility to change, but if you use ctrl + s in the Main menu, the SATA mode option will appear: and the option to change the mod to AHCI and then the Ubuntu installer can see and install NVMe.
However, I have not found a solution to use Linux with Optane without RAID mode if at all possible.
Perhaps it could be useful to someone.
Thank you
