Reset passwords to Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7
Don't know or don't remember your Windows password ? So, surprisingly, this is not a problem at all ...
To change your Windows password:
1.) Back up the
c: \ windows \ system32 \ utilman.exe
file2.) Replace
utilman.exe
with cmd.exe
(ie copy cmd.exe and then rename it to utilman.exe)3.) Restart the PC
4.) Click on the
Easy Access
icon on the windows login screen5.) The
Command Prompt
opens6.) Set a new password for the user using the
net user User Password
commandPS1: Validated on Windows 10, Windows 8 and Windows 7. For Windows 7, the magnify.exe file can be used instead of utilman.exe.
