Linux Ubuntu - ark sometimes does not unpack rar, how to decompress rar file

Hi,

I use Linux Kubuntu and when I need to unzip the rar file via Ark, it often doesn't work. However, the Rar file is fine on Windows will unpack correctly. Do you have any tips on how to expand rar? Quiet in a Linux terminal.

Hi,

install unrar and then unpack as follows:
unrar e file.rar

with the parameter "l" it is possible to view the contents of the archive
unrar l file.rar
